Forever Bee Pollen

Pollen is produced by the stamens of flowers (the stamen being the male reproductive organ of plants). All flowering plants—no matter how small their blossoms—produce pollen.

Pollen consists of microscopic particles called pollen grains, each ranging in size from 20 to 40 microns (0.02 mm to 0.04 mm). While gathering nectar from flowers—which they later transform into honey—bees also collect pollen on their hind legs, forming small pellets that are transported back to the hive as food. These pellets contain pollen from various plants, along with enzymes secreted by the bees to break down the hard outer shell surrounding the nutrients in each tiny pollen grain.

Bee pollen is composed of 30–55% carbohydrates (sugars), 25–30% proteins (including free amino acids), 1–20% fats, and the rest is made up of vitamins (mostly B-complex) and minerals such as calcium, chlorine, copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, silicon, and sulfur. It also contains small amounts of antioxidants and immune-boosting compounds.

The pollen is collected from flowers by bees, then harvested and stored in specially designed stainless steel containers for freeze-drying. This cold-drying process preserves the freshness and quality of the pollen.
